BASADRE HOUSE House of the distinguished historian of the Republic Jorge Basadre Grohmann, was declared a historical monument on 4 April 1987, for its historical value, architectural, urban and environmental tourism. Basadre House is located on Avenida San Martin No. 212, in full paseo civico. The house represents the type of Republican housing on one floor, shows of sobriety, decorative elements where harmony, symmetry and proportion, is part of the architectural.
