CATHEDRAL OF TACNA The Cathedral of Tacna is located in the civic center of the city of Tacna in front of the Main Square, the project of the Work of the Cathedral of Tacna was executed by the engineer and architect N. Nivey. Its construction began in 1875 at the hands of the French firm of Alejandro Gustavo Eiffel.'' In 1878, our country was going through a time of Palencia Prosecutor which prevented further fund the work. Later in the so-called Law of Tacna had entered the completion of the Cathedral. Following this phenomenon resumed work on the completion of large building on an area of 2,000 square meters, including the Cathedral itself, and an additional 980 square meters of underground crypt, which is also finished.
