So also as part of its beauty among beautiful gardens and bougainvillea are Pocollay square of which was drafted on November 25, 1858; THE CHURCH OF MERCEDES has as patron "La virgen de las mercedes" whose image bears numerous decorations awarded by the Republic of Peru and its leaders and institutions.
